DMC Carbon Fiber Side Mirrors for Original Ferrari 458 Italia Coupé and Spyder and Speciale and Aperta Versions
Iconic DMC side mirrors for the Ferrari 458, made from carbon fiber. DMC products are certified by TÜV, the German government-approved body for automotive safety standards.
The 458 is a magnificent car, but from a distance, with its softer curves than its newer sister, the 488, it can seem a bit tame. We want to change that with our new 458 Carbon range. The DMC Carbon diffuser adds the finishing touch to the look of any car. The front face of the original 458 Italia is quite discreet and does not truly do justice to a genuine Ferrari. The DMC Carbon creation fits perfectly with the original design and gives it a more fierce appearance. It blends seamlessly with the original lines and does not at all look like an added accessory.
The carbon fiber mirrors are made from lightweight and strong carbon fiber, produced by vacuum infusion, which gives them great strength and a flawless finish. Once the part is made and removed from the mold, it is carefully checked and tested before being varnished. Each piece is then inspected and its tolerances checked before being polished by hand and machine, then waxed and protected with products high in carnauba wax.
Installation:
This is a replacement part; the original part must be removed before installation. Although fitting is relatively simple, we always recommend using a qualified professional. Allow about 120 minutes for installation.
Gel Coat:
DMC products come with a free glossy or matte finish on all carbon fiber items. Please indicate your choice when ordering. Otherwise, we will apply a glossy base coat. However, we recommend adding an extra layer to suit your country’s requirements for UV protection and climate, as these vary by region. We also advise waxing, polishing, and waterproofing the item, even though we already apply a high-quality carnauba wax base coat. This extra protection is especially useful in damp or rainy areas.
