The new 488 GTB is a splendid car, but from afar, with its softer curves than its sister Pista, it may seem a bit tame. We want to change that with our new range of carbon bumpers for the Ferrari 488. The DMC bumper adds the finishing touch to the front of any car. The original 488 GTB has a rather discreet front that does not truly do justice to a real Ferrari. DMC’s carbon creation fits perfectly with the original design and gives it a more fierce look. It blends seamlessly with the original lines and does not at all look like an added-on part.

Bumper made from lightweight and sturdy carbon fibre, produced by vacuum infusion, which gives it great strength and a flawless finish. Once the part is made and removed from the mould, it is carefully checked and tested before being varnished. Each piece is then inspected and its tolerances checked before being polished by hand and machine, then waxed and protected with products rich in carnauba wax.

Installation:

This is a replacement part; the original bumper must be removed for installation. Although fitting is relatively straightforward, we always recommend using a qualified professional. Allow about 180 minutes for installation.

Gel Coat:

DMC products come with a free glossy or matte finish on all carbon fibre items. Please specify your choice when ordering. If none is given, we will apply a glossy base coat. However, we recommend adding an extra layer to suit your country’s requirements for UV protection and climate, as these vary worldwide. We also advise waxing, polishing, and waterproofing the item, even though we already apply a high-quality carnauba wax base coat. This extra protection is especially useful in damp or rainy regions.
