“Special” carbon fibre engine compartment kit by DMC for Ferrari 488 GTB Coupé and Spider
The iconic DMC engine kit for Ferrari 488, made of carbon fibre. DMC products are certified by TÜV, the German authority approved by the government for automotive safety standards.
These are replacement parts and accessories; some original parts may need to be removed for installation. Although fitting is fairly straightforward, we always recommend using a skilled professional. We estimate the installation time to be about 120 minutes.
Gel Coat:
DMC products come with a free glossy or matte finish on all carbon fibre items. Please specify your choice when ordering. If none is given, we will apply a glossy base coat. However, we recommend adding an extra layer to suit your country’s requirements for UV protection and climate, as these vary across the world. We also advise waxing, polishing, and waterproofing the item, even though we already apply a base layer of high-quality carnauba wax. This extra protection is especially useful in damp or rainy regions.
