Replacement engine hood in carbon fibre by DMC for original Lamborghini Huracan Coupé
The iconic DMC engine hood for the Huracan is made of carbon fibre. DMC products are certified by TÜV, the German government-approved body for automotive safety standards.
The Lamborghini Huracan is a magnificent car, but from afar, with its softer curves than its sister the Aventador, it can seem a bit tame. We want to change that with our new range of carbon fibre accessories. The DMC carbon hood truly enhances the rear of any car. The Huracan, as well as the EVO and Performante versions, come originally with a rather discreet rear bumper, which does not do justice to a true Lamborghini. The DMC carbon creation features a similar design, slightly revised, and the use of carbon gives it a more fierce look. It still keeps the original style, without giving the impression of being an altered part. It draws on the revised DMC style, giving your Huracan a look both modern and original.
The hood is made of lightweight and strong carbon fibre, produced by vacuum infusion, which gives it great strength and a flawless finish. Once the parts are produced and removed from the mould, they are carefully checked and tested before being lacquered. Each piece is then inspected and its tolerances verified before being polished by hand and machine, then waxed and protected with products high in carnauba wax.

Installation:
This is a replacement part or accessory. Depending on your choice in the menu, the base of the original part must be removed for installation, as it will be replaced by the DMC spoiler and hood. Although fitting is relatively simple, we always recommend using a qualified professional. We estimate the installation time at about 240 minutes.
Gel Coat :
DMC products come with a free glossy or matte finish on all carbon fibre items. Please indicate your choice when ordering. Otherwise, we will apply a glossy base coat. However, we recommend adding an extra layer to suit the UV resistance and weather conditions of your country, as these vary by region. We also advise applying additional wax and sealant, even though we already include a base layer of high-quality carnauba wax. This can offer extra protection in areas with high humidity or rainfall.
