Carbon air box CDA BMC - 100 mm inner neck diameter with cotton filter element for V6 and V8 engines

The CDA kit consists of a genuine carbon fiber cylindrical air box containing a washable and reusable filter element. The use of carbon is primarily a technical choice. Indeed, carbon is an excellent thermal insulator that helps guide fresh air to the engine and prevents temperature rise. By replacing the original air box with a CDA, fresh air is directed straight to the filter inside, and thanks to the deflector, the air is accelerated and pressure loss is minimized (exclusive patented system; see technical diagram on the next page).

The kit comes with a flexible aluminum duct (60 cm length) that allows for a forced air intake at the grille side to improve air flow. Originally, the CDA kit was designed as a universal system that can be fitted to a wide range of vehicles, thanks to a complete range of accessories (SILICONE sleeves; connectors; reducers ...) that ease installation. There are two distinct CDA sizes: a model with an outer diameter of 130 mm recommended for engines up to 1600 cc, and a second with a 150 mm diameter for larger engine capacities.
