The iconic DMC wing spoiler, a large carbon fiber wing for McLaren 720S Coupé and Spider, is certified by TÜV, the German authority accredited for automotive safety standards.

The carbon fiber wing consists of forged aluminum wing struts and a lightweight, durable carbon fiber blade, produced by vacuum infusion, giving it great strength and a flawless finish. Once the part is made and removed from the mold, it is carefully inspected and tested before being varnished. Each piece is then checked and its tolerances verified before being hand and machine polished, then waxed and protected with products high in carnauba wax.

Installation:

This is an add-on part. You can also purchase the lower rear bumper from us to keep your original bumper. Otherwise, you will need to modify your bumper to allow the DMC wing to fit into the frame. At this point, the wing fits with the chassis frame. Remove the original diffuser for this operation. The original upper bumper must also be removed for installation. Although fitting is relatively straightforward, we always recommend using a qualified professional. We estimate the installation time to be about 240 minutes.

Gel Coat:

DMC products come with a free glossy or matte finish on all carbon fiber items. Please specify your choice when ordering. Otherwise, we will apply a glossy base coat. However, we recommend adding an extra layer to meet your country’s requirements for UV protection and climate, as these vary worldwide. We also advise waxing, polishing, and waterproofing the item, even though we already apply a high-quality carnauba wax base coat. This extra protection is especially useful in damp or rainy regions.
