Iconic front hood by DMC for McLaren 650S and 675LT, MP4 HS 12C, made of carbon fiber. DMC products are certified by TÜV, a German body authorized by the government for automotive safety standards.
Front hood in carbon fiber made from lightweight and strong carbon fiber, produced by vacuum infusion, which gives it great strength and a flawless finish. Once the part is made and removed from the mold, it is carefully checked and tested before being varnished. Each piece is then inspected and its tolerances verified before being polished by hand and machine, then waxed and protected with products high in carnauba wax.
This is a simple replacement part: remove the original and replace it with the carbon version. The original hood must be removed for installation. Although fitting is relatively straightforward, we always recommend using a qualified professional. Allow about 80 minutes for installation.
